Which would win in a drag race, a 691-horsepower Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 or a 573-horse, electric-motor-enhanced Acura NSX?
In the video, we see a pair of white supercars on a deserted road in what appears to be Utah. The starter gives the signal, and the cars are off. The Lambo gets out to a better start, but the Acura soon overcomes it and is declared the winner.
There are quite a few factors that we don’t know here. Perhaps elevation plays into the result. After all, the NSX’s twin-turbo V-6 and three electric motors may not be as affected by altitude as the Lambo’s naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12. We also don’t know how far the car’s raced, the level of traction, the skill of the drivers, the launch techniques, or the weather conditions.
