While the new 2016 Titan XD has just started to arrive at dealerships nationwide, Nissan has unveiled a design study concept at the 2016 Detroit auto show to push the boundaries of its truck lineup. The Nissan Titan Warrior concept features more aggressive styling with a body modified for off-road use.
The concept builds on the current Titan XD, with power coming from the same Cummins 5.0-liter turbodiesel V-8. The Nissan Titan Warrior concept keeps the standard wheelbase and length of the production model, but grows in height by nearly 3 inches thanks to 37-inch off-road tires that have been mounted on custom 18×9.5-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The width was also increased by 3 inches on each side to help with the new, long-travel suspension.
